Linocuts: „Dreaming of garden II (2021) and „Dreaming of garden I" (2020)
"Sen o ogrodzie II", 2021. Ta seria linorytów powstała po masowych protestach kobiet, które odbyły się w Polsce w październiku i listopadzie 2020 roku w związku z zaostrzeniem prawa aborcyjnego. W pracach wykorzystałam przedstawienie mężczyzny i kobiety. Przypominają Adama i Ewę. Symbolizują ciągły konfilkt i jednoczesne poszukiwanie kontaktu, które najczęściej skazane jest na porażkę. W pracach występują dynamiczne sylwetki ptaków, które pragną ulecieć ku wolności, a także motyw błyskawicy – symbol Strajku Kobiet. Seria została wykonana z użyciem farby drukarskiej, ale wydrukowana ręcznie, w związku z czym charakteryzuje się przetarciami i niedobiciami, które wzmacniają jej dynamizm.

„Dreaming of garden II, 2021. This series of linocuts was inspired by the women protests in Poland taking place in October and November 2021, caused by changes in the abortion law. In my works I used Adam and Eve-like male and female figures. They symbolize an ongoing conflict but also a search for human contact, usually destined to fail. Dynamic shapes of birds can also be seen, fighting to get free, as well as lightining bolts- the symbol of the strike. I used the printing paint but prepared them manually which made some abrasions or blemishes visible, only underlining the overall dynamism.

"Sen o ogrodzie" 2020. Pierwsza seria linorytów wykonana całkowicie w domowej pracowni, odbijana jedynie siłą rąk. Używałam w nim farb olejnych a nawet akrylowych. Prace są po części malowanie. Pojawia się w nich motyw ogrodu ze snów: pięknego, a jednocześnie skrywajacego myśli, ktore mogą być bolesne. Dlatego też w tulipanach czyhają polujące koty, a wśród kwiatów leży karabin.

„Dreaming of Garden" 2020. First series of linocuts created entirely in a home environment, using only hands. Works are partially painted with oil or acrylic paints. A motif of a dream garden can be found: beautiful and yet hiding some painful thoughts. Among the tulips cats stalk their prey and within flowerbeds we find a rifle.
